Grease, Grit and Grime is one of Nevada County’s most popular live bands. Their repertoire includes originals such as “Homeless Blues”, written by Pontiac, Michigan-born lead singer Chad Conner Crow about his experience working at a shelter, and “Grab My Heart,” “RailroadMoney” and “Five O’clock” by guitarist Bob Woods. Standards from greats such as Lazy Lester, Howlin’ Wolf and Muddy Waters comprise the meat of the band’s sets.

The Pyramids include guitarists John Girton (Dan Hicks & the Hot Licks, Maria Muldaur) and Peter Wilson (Deadbeats, 1000 Kisses Deep). They share a love for swing, blues, jazz and early rock and roll. Their repertoire runs from Bill Haley and the Comets to Bob Dylan to Johnny Cash. They are joined by Ty Smith on drums and Eric Menig on electric bass.
