Anni McCann & Elena Rayo have lead the ever-evolving trio, The Dolli Mamas, since it’s inception in 2024. With lush harmonies, vibrant energy, magnetic stage presence and heart-felt original songs, their set will feature much of that material in a paired down duo format.
Paul Emery & Peter Wilson have shared tunes since the 1980s in various configurations including a 20-plus year run as the Fun Train Minstrels strolling the aisles of the Reno Fun Train. Their blend of folk, blues, country and honky-tonk will bring a smile to your face and a tap to your toe.
Nevada City vocalist, instrumentalist and internationally performing artist, Anni McCann, holds a Bachelor of Music degree and has enjoyed a diverse career spanning opera, folk, jazz, and theatre. Celebrated for her range and expressive power, she recorded and performed with Supertramp’s Roger Hodgson, appeared before Queen Elizabeth II, recorded 4 albums and toured the globe with the Backwoods Jazz Trio, and was a featured vocalist in 1,000 Kisses Deep, a Leonard Cohen tribute show, running 12 years. She is co-founder of The Dolli Mamas, keyboardist for Souvenirs, and her albums This Moment and Open Page showcase her lyrical and musical depth as a solo performer and songwriter. She remains one of the Sierra Foothills’ most respected and versatile performers.
Singer-songwriter, violinist, guitarist, and recording artist Elena Rayo has released six albums, performed internationally, and is known for her original music, acclaimed Joni Mitchell tribute, and expressive musicianship. A graduate of UC Berkeley, Cambridge University, and UCLA, she also owns Ancient Wave Studios in Nevada City, where she records, produces, and mentors fellow musicians.
Musician, producer, and broadcaster Paul Emery is the creator of the acclaimed Leonard Cohen tribute A Thousand Kisses Deep, a founding member of Backwoods Jazz and the Greater Carmichael Street Band, and producer of the Nevada City LIVE! concert series at the historic Nevada Theatre. A longtime KVMR News Director and community arts advocate, he has spent decades championing live music and Northern California artists.
Singer-songwriter and guitarist Peter Wilson is a member of The Deadbeats, a founding performer in A Thousand Kisses Deep, and a longtime collaborator with Mountain John Hilligoss and Moe Dixon, with whom he has written, toured, and recorded original music. Based in Grass Valley, he has also been a radio host, open mic organizer, and tireless supporter of the Sierra Foothills music community.
